Sebert Stone House

A total restoration of a classic Ontario stone house near Port Perry Ontario.

This stone house required a lot of attention to bring it back to life. Vagrants had even chopped a 5 ft wide hole in the living room floor to let heat up from a basement stove.

With traditional-style cabinetry and a Rumford fireplace the kitchen became a cosy place to hang out.

Another Rumford fireplace was added in the living room. Notice the depth of the panelled window jambs, typical in early stone houses.
