Natural materials, precise details. This custom home is bright and airy with incredibly efficient use of space. It features a beautiful brick wall that runs from the outside, through the centre of the house, surrounded precisely by exposed beams, out into the back. Inside, there are big oak treads. And there’s a full Nana folding door that opens the living area up to the outdoors, creating one expansive space. We built a custom wine room downstairs, and a luxurious steam shower bathroom upstairs. And we also designed and installed a metal staircase that runs from the basement, up two floors. In the end, the house passed its EnerGuide assessment, and is rated as one of the best homes for low air leakage in all of Vancouver.
