"Love The Island" Kitchen
The objective when designing this couple’s kitchen would be to incorporate their contemporary tastes with the traditional feel of the house. This was accomplished using simple and classic door styles and finishes. Décor Rp330, Maple, Polar White and ¼ sawn rift cut oak in smoke grey finish. The perimeter is clean and simple making an elegant statement in polar white while not distracting from the island furniture piece. The tall cabinetry section with working cabinets below and lighted glass lift up door cabinets above. The working section houses the refrigerator, oven, warming drawer, pantry, and a pocket door breakfast cabinet.
As a stand-alone piece, the island creates a statement by being not only a different door style, wood, and finish, but also has a different countertop and incorporates a contemporary look with the triangle stools, delicate pendant lights and acrylic legs.
The acrylic legs are like a jewel. Love this island!
