DNM Architecture helped its clients re-imagine this one-story mid-century home in Northern California using a palette of rectangular fiber cement panels and twin wall polycarbonate to accentuate its strong horizontal geometry and embolden its architecture. A new garage in front of the house establishes its street presence and forms a welcoming entry court. The previous carport is infilled to become one with the enlarged, light filled, open kitchen, living, dining space. A climate controlled wine room is the focus of the bright clean interior.
