DNM Architect has transformed a decrepit 550sf cottage in Sausalito into a charming one bedroom vacation rental that sleeps six. Plumbing, electrical, heating systems, and the foundation were entirely replaced. The ceiling was removed to expose the original framing and create a sleeping loft. A solar powered skylight was added for extra light. A new compact kitchen was added with French patio doors opening to a private exterior garden.
