Modern Craftsman | Willow Glen

This home is stunning! (In order to appreciate the transformation, please look for the "Before" image in the project.) Located on one of the loveliest streets in Willow Glen, this house used to be a modest two-story Ranch with three awkward dormers protruding from the top floor. Changing hipped roofs to gables and adding a shed-roof dormer grounded the house and created layers that invite further investigation. A new front porch encourages interactions with neighbors.

Inset from the front of the home, the entrance is cozy and welcoming. Two side lites and a complementary transom convert what might otherwise be a cramped, dark space into an inviting introduction; a beautiful Moravian Star fixture continues the warmth and texture of the exterior into the entry.
