Modernized Cabin in Cheverly
This 1940's 'Cabin' in a DC Suburb had an abundance of character but very little light or modernization. The site/lot provided for a level entry through a back alley, providing the perfect opportunity for single level living. The kitchen was completely relocated. (The original ceiling is featured in the new, bright kitchen.) A full bath was relocated and expanded to include a zero entry shower with lots of storage. The original jalousie window sunroom was demolished and a home office/main level bedroom was created. The original kitchen door now serves a new laundry/mud room off the side of the home.
