Designed for a private event catering company, the Oyster Road Case is a 2500-4000 year old redwood burl with a digitally derived topographic surface that displays seafood on a bed of crushed ice. The milled surface has a scallop detail that directs melted ice to a concealed stainless steel drain below. This project is a collaboration with Toronto based Studio Beites & Co.
