This kitchen was very dark and busy with ornate hand carved wood work and staggered height cabinets combined with a two level kitchen island. We gave it a modern bright makeover by building soffits down to the double stacked cabinets with backlit frosted glass and lots of indirect LED lighting.

Our team brainstormed with the owners and designed the kitchen based on their cooking style and with entertaining in mind. The 10+ foot long book-matched island holds one of the two kitchen dishwashers, a prep sink, pull out garbage cans, a Thermador microwave and warming drawer as well as custom built paper towel dispensers.

Custom built appliance garages outfitted with charging stations and enough outlets for every appliance imaginable flank the massive Sub Zero refrigerator/freezer. We designed and built the doors of these garages to disappear into pockets when opened for use.

A champagne gold pot filler hangs above the massive 60" Thermador gas range which sits on top of European oak hardwood floors. The end result is a timeless and bright kitchen any aspiring chef would be proud to call home.
