Pool Cabana

When my husband decided he was ready to build a cabana for our pool area, I had no idea I would be taking a glorified shed and making it poolside cabana-worthy! I knew we would need to add a few details to the structure so it would tie in nicely with the rest of the backyard and look more like a cabana. A set of accordian windows were installed for use with the server window. We added a stone veneer along the front facade to tie it in with an outdoor kitchen that exists on a patio adjacent to our home. In addition, an eyebrow pergola was installed over the server window ( similiar to one we also have on our back patio). Three beautiful glazed pots were purchased which further complement the stone veneer. To tie in new landscaping with our decade old pool deck we extended a bed behind an existing gazebo. LED lights were installed as well to add ambience during evenings. An EP Henry paver patio was installed from the extended bed & pool deck, along the fence line and around the cabana. We choose the same pavers, original to the pool installation which are located in the entry way leading into the pool area. Finally , a 1/2 yard river rocks to create a base along the right rear of the cabana for exterior storage of pool toys and floats. To further add to the design element we mirrored the arches and angles from the pool in the design of the walls and paver patio/river rock areas.
