The inspiration for this design plan came from artwork hung in the client's Great Room. The artwork, reminiscent of rusted tin tiles, was refinished in a pewter color and placed over the fireplace as a focal point. Tin tiles selected in Silver Washed Pewter were installed as the new surround and hearth for the custom wood mantle. Next, the builder grade natural gas fireplace was replaced with an energy efficient insert. 

Artist-created shadow boxes installed on the great room walls complement the neutral Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter paint color and highlight tile pattern throughout the room.

Custom Window Treatments designed with Robert Allen's Eliza's Garden fabric in salmon complement two side chairs in a blue chevron for visual interest. An oversized tufted ottoman anchors the room and doubles as a place to rest weary feat or place drinks. New carpeting and accessories completed this transformation.
