The original, classic turn-of-the-century, cottage burned to the ground in the spring of 2011. The intent of the long-time owners was to recreate the spirit of the original cottage but create better flow and visually expanding living spaces. A porch was added as an outdoor living space that didn't exist before, and a first floor bedroom. The third floor attic became an office/guest bedroom/look-out.
