Riverside Remodel

This was a major remodel of the living, kitchen and bath areas of a house built in the 80's. The owners, who enjoyed cooking and entertaining, wanted a new kitchen that was the social center of the living area. Several interior walls that separated the existing kitchen from the dining and living areas were removed to open up the space. The living and kitchen areas were more closely integrated, and the dining area was placed just off of, but open to, the living area. An existing second living area was closed in by a new entry closet and doors into the dining area were added, making the space a more intimate den/ inglenook. Additionally, the master bathroom was remodeled to add space and functionality, as well as update the finishes. A laundry room and second bath swapped spaces, and a powder room was also given a facelift.
