The Springhill Residence was constructed using Rastra Blocks, a hi-tech insulating block composed of wood fibers, cement and mineral wool insulation. But the look and feel is absolute rustic. Reclaimed timbers, rough cut siding and local stone create an aged exterior that continues inside with timbers, plaster finishes and wood flooring. The 5 bedroom house includes separate guest quarters over the garage, and custom wood, concrete and steel elements throughout.
