The owner wanted a better connection to the outdoors. Levitch guided the client through the San Francisco zoning and design review process for this project, which included an addition at the rear of the home with a new Bedroom and Sitting Room. Relocating the Kitchen to the ground floor keeps the living areas close to the new deck, which adds outdoor space and takes advantage of city views. The old Kitchen became a Bedroom.
