Segrell Way

We’re known mostly for our Mid Century modern style, but lately we’ve been sought out for our urban farmhouse staging prowess. It’s a lot of fun and we enjoy the opportunity to switch things up. Here, we mixed organic modern shapes with cozy neutral texturals to create the ultimate modern LA farmhouse. We think Joanna Gaines would be right at home in this living room (even though it’s not in Waco, TX). You can’t beat the combination of a seagrass rug, nubby accent pillows, a little brass — and a whole lotta warmth by way of a pom-pom throw and linen upholstery. Wherever you have a little extra space, try adding a pouf instead of a chair. It mixes things up a bit and allows for additional seating for a crowd. And never miss out on the opportunity to lean a rustic ladder against the wall to hang a comfy throw. And every home deserves an entry — and this serendipitous space under the stairs allowed us to place a console table for all those little things that can get lost in the shuffle — car keys, dog leashes and the like. Atop a spotted cowhide rug, a Mid Century-styled dining table and chairs add a top-note of sleek to counter-balance our transitional elements. Simple charcoal-toned pottery with huge Monstera leaves keep it real.
