A modern architectural beauty, this 3,000 square foot home went through a complete remodel and updating, so it was completely stage-ready for Madison Modern Home to take on. We pulled in a modern mix of furnishings, art and accessories to match the home's inherent drama and large, light-filled spaces.

Living room, featuring the staging of Madison Modern Home, enhancing the tall ceilings, architectural features and gleaming hardwood floors. 1950s-style chairs and chrome and glass coffee table complete the look.
Modern Living Room Style
The Master Bath was treated to a spa-like feel, denoting luxury and a serene atmosphere. We brought in the drama of a zebra pattern rug and a soft gray-weathered look bath caddy to hold rolled up spa towels. Soft shell photographs in sepia tones soften the modern edge.

The Dining Room received a wash of color from paintings hung above a console, warm red accents and gold chargers on the table. The kitchen can be viewed directly from the dining area and was remodeled in a modern style.

The Guest Bath in this modern architectural home is a green oasis, with soft touches of dark coral red in the art, and green accessories to match the vibrant shade of the shower curtain.

The Master Bedroom is a calm and soothing retreat in shades of taupe and cream, accented with fresh black and white. We added traditional touches to this room, and incorporated a serene shell and beach undertone in colors and acessories to amplify the spa/resort feel.

One of the two Guest Bedrooms in this home was treated to a neutral brown, tan and light blue color scheme, featuring soft colors on the bed, an ottoman in the corner and fresh dark brown and white striped curtains. Assorted throw pillows soften the feel of the room and beckon in the buyer.

The second Bedroom in the home received a bright color combo of warm red and Robin's egg blue, with a fresh dose of black and white for contrast and drama. This fabulously remodeled kitchen was a dream to stage. All we had to do was add a little color with the red Tibetan bar stools and accent with some green apples in a global influenced wooden trough-style bowl and curvy vintage hand-blown glass vases in bright turquoise, yellow and blue.

Another view of the living room. We staged this room in three separate zones, leaving ample space in between for those gleaming hardwood floors to shine through. Large, vintage abstract art hangs on all walls, creating an art gallery feel.

The white elephant was sourced inexpensively at Ross Department Store. We found the owl there too, but needed to paint him white to bring out his full mid century modern potential. We found the wicker wrapped demijohn at a vintage store.

Our favorite type of mix on IKEA's Lack bookcase -- vintage art, handmade Danish wooden candle sticks, National Geographics for color and a simple shorebird sculpture completes this modern pastiche.
