Madison Modern Home and our subcontractors remodeled this 750 square foot condo with a reverence for its original 1960s roots. Keeping the kitchen cabinets intact, we painted them a soft taupe, installed wood-look flooring in the kitchen and bath, and all new appliances. Berber carpeting covers the remainder of the space. We painted a lighter version of the taupe on the walls, and painted two accent walls in a fresh green. We re-tiled the bathroom with white subway tiles and installed new lighting, hardware and fixtures throughout the space. We accessorized it in a hip California beach pad style with zen accents.
