Small Concrete Patio - CT
The clients had a concrete slab that they wanted to coat with a decorative concrete overlay. We prepared some samples and the clients settled on a desert beige Elite Crete slate trowel effect with a tile pattern taped into the surface.
The concrete was prepared and cleaned. One coat of Elite Crete Thinset was applied. The tape was applied to this coating. A second coating of Thinset was applied to lock down the tape.
The third coat was applied by hand trowel to produce the slate stone effect.
When dry, the tape was removed and the patio colored using Gray, leigh and chocolate antique staining.
The final protection was provided by 2 coats of Elite Crete CSS.
