Spring Island Shrimp Pond Studio Addition

This Spring Island Home was designed by Frederick + Frederick in 2000. We renovated the guest house, and added a small studio for the new owners.

The fountain was designed by Michael Frederick. The bricks are Old Carolina Savannah Gray, and the pavers are bluestone.

Custom 5 ft x 10 ft Shoji doors were built as a room divider. The lumber is river recovered cypress for the rolling sewing island, as well as the doors. 3Form was used in the doors instead of traditional rice paper.
