Tarzana Backyard SITE PLAN Design Ideas Project
SITE PLAN DESIGN IDEA ONLY - Project using DynaSCAPE Software:
Black & White Hardscape Plan showing generic plants – Colorized Presentation Plan - Changes
Although the homeowner would have “liked” to see 2D photo-realistic images for their backyard design ideas, for this project, they opted to have a measured site plan developed.
Mainly their concern was, would all their wish-list items fit?
Design Dilemmas:
• Add an upper-level entertainment patio and BBQ Island with covered pergola shade structure for a dining table gathering spot.
• Show a walkway leading to a raised fire pit patio and high-backed paver seating bench.
• Somehow/somewhere add a half-sized Bocce Ball Court.
• Keep a tiny upper patio and existing steps but add a pond-less water feature to be viewed from interior house window.
• Provide new pool decking patios and a center stairway with pillars leading up the middle slope.
• Add a new Baja Shelf in the pool.
• Design a pool-end fire feature wall focal point.
• Add a “drinks only” bar for thirsty teens near the pool area.
• Figure out how to create and where to place a safe outside zone for a growing-out-of-his-indoor-cage pet tortoise.
To start a project like this, one needs the correct City or County Lot Size dimensions, Before, Photos, correct measurements, and the ability to “visualize” blueprints designs. Later-stage changes – or reduction in budget – can easily be accommodated with digital plans.
