The Break

The Break is a fantastic place to enjoy the summer season in lovely Narragansett, RI. The beaches and eclectic town center of Narragansett are just a stone throw away from this contemporary chic property. Enjoy the heated pool, relax on the blue marble front porch, or take in the view from the rooftop bar. Magma worked meticulously with the owner, architect, and interior designer in both the design and construction phases for the entire landscape, hardscape and parking lot. From meetings in front of the town zoning board to the installation of glass mosaic tile Magma was part of the team that brought The Break to life.

Enjoy the view! This one-of-kind pool consists of beautiful mosaic tiles in the shape of waves. The sandblasted Calendonia pool coping provides a slip resistant transition into the pool from the custom concrete paver patio.

Dive into the heated deep end here at The Break. The 4x12 glass subway tile provides a contemporary look to traditional pool tile.

Magma designed and installed a glass tile mosaic water wall at the far end of the pool.

This water wall gently cascades water down it's surface and flows back into the pool. The design is an abstract view of the ocean.

Magma brought the stucco pool walls to life with these custom mahogany panels , irrigated custom stainless steel planters, and ornamental plantings.

These concrete pavers by Stepstone inc. were specified by Magma for their color, size, and texture. The largest paver installed on this patio 36" by 36". The Magma crew worked hard and did a great job on this install.

These custom Caledonia granite stones cover the automatic pool cover below. We designed these removable vault stones with linear lines scored into the surface for visual interest and to play off of the textures and patterns of the the interior design.

This porte cochere and front porch are made of a blue marble. A heating system below grade will keep the entrance from ever needing to be shoveled or plowed of snow.
