This was a fun master bathroom remodel. This is a room that gets a lot of use, so function was a huge factor in our decision making. My client wanted to keep the existing footprint but give it a facelift. The design goal was to make it more sophisticated and modern.
We recycled the cabinetry by removing some traditional molding embellishments then refinished them with a high gloss black lacquer.
Opened the space by replacing the decorative mirrors with counter to ceiling plate mirrors.
Removed all the walls and structural barriers in the space - the steps /surround and the shower walls. Added a oval soaking tub to take advantage of the corner and opted for a seamless glass entry for the shower.

But what provided the most significant impact was the tile. We installed floor to ceiling oversized marble tiles. It lightened and brighten the entire room…giving it the sexy feeling my clients wanted.

Gold finishing touches on the plumbing fixtures cabinet hardware and of course the statement lighting over the soaking tub was just the icing on the cake…Or shall I say the perfect jewelry for the space.
