Wine tasting dining room in Cary NC
To say my client’s are wine enthusiasts is probably an understatement… They collect wine with a passion. This dining room was designed for their annual wine tasting party.
My goal was to create an old world space. Rich in color and feel. The room has a very continental feeling. The walls are covered in an unusual red and purple safari toile and windows are decked in aubergine velvet drapes and wood tassels.
The custom made wine cabinet from France is absolutly the focal point in this dramatic room. It is handmade and took 14 months to arrive. The brass accents are not just for show…the crank opens the bottom cabinet. This wine cabinet is absolutely a modern day heirloom.
The ivory chairs may have seemed like a risky option but with performance fabric, it was the ideal choice to lighten and brighten the space.
The delicate beaded ivory chandeler added the perfct finishing touch to soften the rich colors and stong profiles of this room.
