We created a sophisticated fireplace and focal point in the living room of a 1950's Eichler while integrating a flat screen television and electronic equipment. The fireplace was resurfaces, adding detail and drama with custom-cut honed black slate. The floating mantle across one of the vertical windows creates an unusual, asymmetrical composition.
