We had the pleasure of working with two wonderful clients to remodel the kitchen in their newly purchased condo. Taking inspiration from the building's history, we incorporated vintage materials like butcher block counters, shaker cabinets, pinwheel tiling on the floor, and a large cast iron sink. To give the clients much needed additional storage we were able to remove the existing soffit and install taller cabinets topped with a simple cove molding. The most drastic change came in the creation of a pass-through between the kitchen and the living room, which opened up the kitchen and allows for light and conversation to travel freely between the spaces.
