In my solo practice, I designed this whole house remodel of a small one story Hyde Park home in Austin, adding a full second level.

The neighborhood is a local historic district in the National Register of Historic Places, and as such the project was subject to compatibility review. Designed to evoke the craftsmanship and level of detail of the surrounding homes, the newly expanded and re-envisioned house sits comfortably among its older neighbors.
