This farm kitchen had ample space for a large island, but no dishwasher. So, we constructed a 3' ft x 10' ft island using Elegant White Shaker cabinets, including a dishwasher, waste cabinet, and large drawer base cabinet for pots and pans. The island also serves as a table, with a 12" bar overhang on the far side and a leg-supported extension.
