This lakeshore project involved removal of an existing deck and excavation of sand and a large tree stump. Some existing decking was salvaged and re-used, the staircase was widened, and a heavy wire-mesh guardrail was added.

The structure was lowered over three feet to allow the homeowners an unrestricted view of Lake Michigan from their home.
