Spring 2020 Kitchen Remodel

This project involved removal of ceiling bulkheads with the wall cabinets extending to the ceiling. The layout changed to allow better access to appliances and waste disposal.

BEFORE: A country kitchen in a 40+ year-old home.

AFTER: Same view, remodeled with White Shaker cabinetry. The new LED ceiling cans have replaced the old center fluorescent light.

AFTER: Same view, closet gone, with space for new refrigerator instead. The desk area has also been replaced with pantry cabinets that include rollout shelving trays.

AFTER: Note the quartz countertops, white subway tile backsplashes, and the undermount sink with detachable faucet sprayer. Instead of a countertop microwave there is an over-the-range microwave. The DW is now to the left of sink.

BEFORE: The Utility countertop served little purpose and the base cabinet beneath was difficult to access.

AFTER: The utility countertop is matching quartz, and both base cabinets contain dual rollout wastebaskets, keeping both trash and recycling functions out of sight and yet easy to access. Note the new luxury vinyl flooring.
