The subfloor issue has been addressed, and white hexagon tilework is installed on the floor, with a new chair-height toilet installed. Also, the homeowner chose to have a 24" wide vertical section of tile installed behind the sink, matching the tub/shower tile.

The area behind the tub served little purpose, and a mysterious bulkhead was installed on the front side of the alcove, serving only to block vision and light from the area.

A 24" x 15" shampoo niche was installed in the rear wall of the alcove. Also, the plumbing features a new chrome valve and trim.

The homeowner settled on a "floating" lavatory attached to the wall, rather than the traditional vanity or pedestal sink.
