This remodeling project involved constructing a one-story side addition to a 1940 Colonial home in Arlington Forest. The clients wanted The addition to have an English-style conservatory and orangery aesthetic, enhancing the home's entry and living space with ample natural lighting. The one room space has an entrance foyer area with built-ins with the rest of the space functioning as a den. A new HVAC Split System was installed to condition the space. On the exterior, a vaulted standing seam metal hip roof was installed on the new addition along with Hardie panel siding and all new Pella windows and doors. A flagstone stoop was added that matched the existing walkway along with other landscaping work.
