Baker's Delight

This Leslieville neighbourhood project was crying out for an optimized footprint. The linear kitchen was a great size overall with plenty of counter space but it fell short when it came to storage. The existing layout left a lot of available wall space untouched and the homeowners needed to maximize their storage to meet their daily needs. Design partner Hooga Interior Design was able to step in and maximize their footprint along the existing walls and even carved out a full pantry increasing both the kitchen's footprint and its storage abilities. Now the kitchen has more than double the original storage options with room to grow.

The kitchen's material palette visually expands the footprint as well through the thoughtful curation of muted, textured materials. Hooga's classic warm minimalist aesthetic shines through in this Toronto kitchen with warmth from the matte and Coastal collections pairing beautifully with the crisp whites of the quartz and kit kat tiled backsplash. Once cool, dark and visually cluttered, this family-friendly kitchen now hums with zen, neutral vibes ready to be the backdrop to all the adventures to come.

CLIENT TESTIMONIAL
"Working with Swede was easy. Our designer Karina understood exactly what we wanted and created a beautiful minimal kitchen that significantly increased the storage in our narrow space. The materials are high quality and we expect to be enjoying our kitchen for a long time.”
