From Home Depot special to Japandi chic. This homeowner knew his new home needed some modern love but didn't want to lose the dark moody vibes. By refreshing the material palette, Ayume Concepts updated this compact condo kitchen with a layered japandi style influence amping up the vibes while simplifying the form.
Raised upper cabinets align seamlessly with the integrated hoodfan and the fridge disappears under an integrated millwork panel creating an open and streamlined visual that lets the materials be the star. Balancing all that new open space are the rich textures of the ceramic kit kat backsplash and the stunning Fantasy Brown quartzite slab. The slab's waterfall edge on the peninsula is a show-stopper!

The kitchen is luxurious and tonal while the bathroom is playful and colourful. A mix of materials like concrete ceilings with small Kit Kat tiles and quartzite countertops. "
