These homeowners wanted to completely renovate their builder-grade, poorly lit bathroom for new cabinetry, and lighter finishes; while also creating a new space plan for their awkwardly configured tub/shower area. The homeowner’s had to daily navigate the large shower threshold which was a trip hazard and the bathroom was extremely dark, creating shadows throughout, especially in the shower area.

The project started by demoing the entire bathroom and being careful to add only the elements that would enhance the space and create a beautiful aesthetic. By removing the jacuzzi tub that was never used, the shower was able to double in size. The bathroom was completely remodeled to include a new lighting scheme with recessed can lights, lighter materials, new double sinks with a tower and linen cabinet with custom pull-outs. Details like the new cabinetry tower and custom pull-outs were added to maximize ease and function for this couple. The space includes a new zero-entry shower with a bench and several niches. The original adjacent shower wall was also demoed to allow the master closet to increase in size and create a better layout for the shower.
