This couple wanted a more functional layout for entertaining. The client's original kitchen felt dated, dark and cramped into a small corner of their living space. An awkward granite island seemed to disconnect and separate the kitchen from the rest of the home, while wasting a lot of the floor space. Also, the lighting, finishes and paint colors were very dark and dated. To connect the kitchen to the rest of the home, the existing cabinetry, old appliances and light fixtures were all demoed.

The stunning new remodel now features a 9’ island design with storage on the working side and extra storage on the back side, cabinets that go to the ceiling for more storage, all-new appliances and a large bar area that extends into the living space for entertaining.
