The owners of this home wanted a place to sit and garden in their front yard, the only sunny part of their property. With a modern aesthetic in mind, we created a large bluestone landing off of the front door with steps down to grade through two large raised planters. The planters are veneered with linear bluestone and include lighting. The landing steps down to a patio area, large enough for a table and a few chairs. On the side of the yard we created 3 cedar vegetable beds with trellises that provide screening.
