The landscape design for this new construction home in Wellesley aimed to soften the formality and balance the scale of the house.

The mixed plant beds in the front yard are generous in size and shaped in sweeping curves to soften the facade. Plant beds flank the front walkway at the sidewalk to create a sense of entrance to the yard.

The back yard features two distinct patios; one functioning as an extension of the living room, and the other as a dining area. Plantings surround the patio to provide views from inside and as an edge between the patio and lawn.
