A custom pergola and swing bed was designed as the focal point of this owner's back yard. An existing brick and bluestone patio was expanded with pea gravel to provide space for the pergola and a series of raised bluestone beds for vegetable and annual gardening. Custom trellises and a pergola over a bluestone walkway connect the backyard to the property's side yard.
