The owners of this home in Cambridge wanted a no lawn landscape that combined the look of an English garden with some fun and whimsical notes. They wanted the garden to be dog friendly (and have at least one path that could be cleared of snow in the winter for the dogs to run), and to include lots of edibles. The design includes a new walkway, iron fence and plantings in the front yard. In the back are generous raised vegetable beds, a main pathway that connects the side entrances to a large patio, and a secondary gravel pathway through the garden. The owner's sculptures are located throughout the garden.
