The dark kitchen in this starter home was closed in and had very little storage or counter space. The refrigerator was covering a window in the corner, and the only work-space was between the range and the sink on the other side of the room. The homeowners, a young professional couple, wanted a more efficient space, room to be creative in the kitchen and entertain guests, and a design more fitting to their classic bungalow home within their limited budget.
