This powder bath was a time capsule from the 1980’s with dated finishes and fixtures that didn’t fit with the aesthetic of this grand 1930’s home. Tasked with staying in the footprint and keeping the green marble tile, the goal was to create a beautiful space for guests to use. The design incorporates richly patterned wallpaper, a fluted concrete sink with a custom brass base, and a large mirror sized to fill the wall and keep the space bright. New brass fittings relate to the gold-leaf ceiling finish, elevating the green marble and creating a space fit for any guest.
