A custom-designed wood vanity with a more contemporary touch provides a fresh look for the new bathroom. Marble basket-weave tile on the floor and white subway tile in the shower bring in traditional materials to tie it back in with the era of the house.

The kid's bathroom has a tub/shower with a fiberglass casement window to bring in natural light in addition to the skylight above the vanity. The custom-designed cherry wood vanity is topped with a granite slab counter.

With no master suite and a single cramped bathroom, the rooms were carefully adjusted to create a 3-bedrooom and 2-bathroom house. The parent's room is less suite and more "sweet" with a small bedroom footprint, new round window, and a new pop-out bay for viewing the garden.
