Eliminating a dividing wall was the key to opening up this corridor kitchen to the adjoining family room. The versatile tiered island was purposefully designed to accommodate multiple tasks such as food prep, eating area and TV viewing. Maintaining traditional elements with Hertco shaker cabinetry and subway tile was essential while modern touches of stainless appliances and LBL track lighting add interest.
