Mercer Island Classic Kitchen
Replacing a bearing wall with a hidden beam was the ideal solution to combining unused eating space into this new larger kitchen. Repositioning several doors along with adding new skylights and a French door also played an integral part. The new layout features a generous center island with surrounding “L” and a cooking area to accommodate multiple cooks or family activities. Pale gray painted cabinets maintain a traditional look while adding a fresh touch that contrasts nicely with the dark wood floor. Timeless marble tile, dolomite stone countertops and professional stainless appliances complete the overall ambience of the room.
