Although the square footage remained the same, removing two interior walls made a tremendous impact in this open plan kitchen. Locating the angled island at the former wall locations allowed plenty of space for the functioning “L” which includes the sink and appliances. Contemporary accents such as the Kohler stainless apron sink, Dacor commercial range, Vent-a-Hood and Tech track lighting contribute to the contemporary Northwest feel of the home.
