We designed a new envelope for the existing garden, a rear patio, and a sculptural focus at the centre of the garden to create multiple layers of visual depth. The owner had collected lovely plant specimens and had a beautiful Norway Maple tree. Most of the existing plants were reorganized in the sun bed in a series of colourful pockets surrounded by tall grasses.
