This new construction home in Carmel Valley includes a California Room, lush grass for the kids to play and an rustic fire pit in the back corner. Veggie beds with decomposed granite line a side wall and there's screening for trash cans since there was no where else to hide them. The client wanted to use pavers and we chose to keep the architecture consistent by choosing the same stone that was used in the front of the house for the tv wall. We used a reclaimed mantel that the television sits on. It's a truly indoor/outdoor space. The client has since sold the house for full asking price within one week. He attributes the fast sale to the curb appeal and landscaping in back.
