This very special, historic home in Mission Hills had a lush, green lawn. During the extreme drought, this client wanted to remove the lawn, and replace with drought tolerant plants. Other yards in the area had attempted this, but didn't do so successfully. In an attempt to still make it look interesting and lush, we put in flagstone steppers, boulders, and really packed in the plants, but still allowing room for their growth. We didn't want it to look like a desert so we utilized a few flowering plants and added color through foliage. This project had neighbors stopping and we've had several referrals from this attention grabbing yard.
