This condo on the 17th floor on top of Russian Hill had a spectacular 290 degree view of San Francisco. Since the interior was rather dated we opted for an extensive remodel and new furnishings through out. We relocated the kitchen into a former guest room and now one can enjoy the SF view from the kitchen sink. The formal dining area and living room were expanded since the old galley kitchen is now gone. Both bathrooms got a complete over haul. By "stealing" a closet we were able to create a walk in shower that totally transformed the bath. Custom vanity, full size mirror wall and bamboo accent tile round out the design. The guest bath and powder room have a tranquil feel while being easy maintenance.
This space was originally a walk in closet. The bathroom was squeezed into a tiny room and had a miniscule shower. By recreating two new closets in the bedroom we were able to create a spacious walk-in shower. The former "bath" became the toilet room with full height storage cabinet. A new custom vanity and wall to wall mirror was installed and we created a master bath that did this spectacular condo justice.
The old galley kitchen was demolished and we created a new spacious kitchen in a former guest room by opening the wall between the room and the dining area. The result was stunning. Now one has the fabulous view from the kitchen sink. Serving the dining area is a snap, much improved storage room and a classy and easy to use kitchen was created.
